About Pangenesis
A cast of over 20 puppets collaborate to create an opportunity for reflecting on the way we view the world and how it influences what we see. In Act I, Charles Darwin narrates the story of his life as it unfolds on the stage and shares highlights from his many books, including Origin of Species, The Descent of Man, and The Formation of Vegetable Mold Through the Action of Worms. In Act II, three giraffes discuss the merits of Darwin's theory of natural selection as it applies to their own necks. In Act III, a panel of experts on evolution and epistemology will field questions from the audience.
